Dr. Christe Sprowls and Dr. Priscilla Marquis share a strong enthusiasm for effective EMDR treatment of Anxiety Disorders and the wellness of both clients and clinicians. The EMDR Treatment of Anxiety course is an EMDRIA-approved distance learning course that is derived from a live workshop with Dr. Christie Sprowls and Dr. Priscilla Marquis.
In the workshop, Dr. Marquis and Dr. Sprowls present on the treatment of Anxiety Disorders using EMDR Therapy. This treatment is based on clinical research and practice, integrating Anxiety Disorder treatments such as interoceptive exposure, psycho-education, mindfulness relaxation training, breathing retraining, cognitive techniques, adaptive information processing and exposure and response prevention. They discuss how to treat Anxiety Symptoms with EMDR Therapy. The diagnoses of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Hoarding, Trichotillomania, Skin Picking, Panic Disorder and their interaction with PTSD are discussed. Standard EMDR Therapy treatment protocols for treatment of Anxiety are presented within the context of the Adaptive Information Processing Model. Theoretical models are presented. This treatment integrates the use of future template and behavioral feedback for success of anxiety symptoms. Participants will learn how to specify EMDR Therapy targets for rapid symptom reduction. Case examples are presented.
The workshop content is broken down into short videos covering different topics on Anxiety Disorders. An overview of each topic appears below. You may purchase all seven videos with 14 EMDRIA CEU’s for $395 or you may order them separately.
